Alan is the founder of Enable. When he was made reduntant 14 years ago, he started volunteering, driving people with learning & physical disabilities to activities. He found that people weren't happy with the services they were being offered, so he started running small groups of 4 or 5 people, in a rented room helping recycle toys.

Demand got greater, and now Enable has its own building, which Alan and his team raised the money for, and employ 12 staff and have 60 users, with demand for more places.
